NEPGA Shines Through Snowy Weekend
Berberian, Hanefeld make a National Splash

While it was a snow-laden and cold weekend for the NEPGA at its headquarters in Massachusetts, New England PGA Professionals have been heating it up on some National stages.
Rich Berberian Jr., PGA played his first PGA Tour event this weekend. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am featured a litany of some of the biggest PGA Tour Golfers and celebrities. Berberian Jr. was struggling in the middle rounds, and faced some blustery and rainy weather. However, he persisted quickly was able to right the ship and generate some great scores. He finished at even par for the tournament and made the modified cut.
Rob Oppenheim, a former New England Open competitor and Andover, MA native also played at Pebble Beach over the weekend. He had himself a great tournament and finished near the top of the leaderboard, tied for eighth at nine under par.
