Volunteer Opportunities

Monday Night Clinics for Golfers with Special Needs

Where: Braintree Municipal Golf Course

When: Every Monday beginning April 23rd from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm until the NEPGA/Special

Olympic Tournament on Sunday, October 14th

MSR Hours: 2 (growth of the game category)

This will also include Putting for Autism clinics on alternating Mondays. Volunteers are needed to help with the instruction. Bob Beach will be available to help train and guide any volunteers in working with people with different abilities. Thursday Night Clinics for Veterans and their Families

Where: Brockton VA, Brockton, MA

When: Every Thursday beginning on May 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 throughout the month of May

Where: Braintree Municipal GC

When: Thursday, June 7th from 5:30 to 7:30

Remaining venues will be announced.

Each clinic is worth 2 MSR hours for PGA Professionals.

The first of a twelve week series of free lessons for veterans, and their families will be at the Brockton VA in Brockton, Mass. on Thursday May 17^th from 11:00am to 1:30. Veterans with disabilities are also welcome. Thursday May 24^th from 5:30 to 7:30, Thursday May 31^st from 5:30 to 7:30, Thursday June 7^th from 5:30 to 7:30 this program for veterans will be held at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course. There will be eight more clinics for veterans TBA.

First Swing Learn to Golf Clinic for Individuals with Different Abilities

When: Sunday, June 3rd 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Where: Braintree Municipal Golf Course

MSR Hours: 3 Growth of the Game Hours

Volunteers are needed for a First Swing/ Learn to Golf clinic for individuals with disabilities at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course on Sunday June 3^rd from 1:00 to 4:00. PGA professionals and physical therapists will help physically challenged golfers with their golf swing. An adaptive golf cart will be available for instruction. SPECIAL OLYMPICS GOLF COACHES TRAINING SEMINAR

When: Saturday, June 23rd 9:00 am to 11:30 am
