REGISTER HERESIGN UP FOR NEPGA U

BOYLSTON, Mass. – Some of the top Golf Teachers in the country and from around the world will gather at Framingham Country Club next month for the New England PGA’s 2019 Teaching & Coaching Summit, presented by K-Motion. The lineup of guest presenters for the two-day Summit includes Golf Digest Top 50 Teachers Andrew Rice and John Dunigan, PGA of Canada National Teacher of the Year Henry Brunton, River Club of NYC Head Professional Matt Atkins, and Game Like Training Golf co-founder Iain Highfield. The Summit is April 29-30 and runs from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day.

The Summit will be packed with education for PGA Professionals from within the New England Section and beyond. Cost for both days of the Summit is $250, but NEPGAU members can register for the discounted rate of $120. New England section Professionals who are not already enrolled in NEPGA U will save $31 on Summit registration by registering for NEPGA U ($99) then taking advantage of the $120 Summit rate.

Rice, the Director of Instruction at The Club at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Ga., was recognized by Golf Digest as one of America’s Top 50 Teachers in 2017-18, checking in at No. 37. He also published the instructional book “It’s All About Impact” in December 2009. Rice is one of nine TrackMan University Partners in the world, and is also a Revolution Golf Staff Instructor and Swing Catalyst Ambassador.

Dunigan, PGA Master Professional, is a highly decorated teacher, garnering both Golf Digest Top 50 (No. 39 in 2017-18) and GOLF Magazine Top 100 Teacher recognition. He is a three-time Philly PGA Teacher of the Year and the author of “Hole It, Mastering Putting’s 3 Essential Skills”.

Brunton, who earned 2016 National Teacher of the Year recognition from the PGA of Canada, coached the Canadian National Team from its inception in 1999 until 2011. He coached and developed four world junior champions, two NCAA Men’s Division I Champions, 16 NCAA All-Americans, and a host of players who took their talents to the professional ranks of the Web.com, PGA, and LPGA Tours. His success developing youth golfers helped earn him recognition as a USA Top 25 Elite Junior Coach by Future Champions Golf. Brunton is the author of “Journey to Excellence” and “High-Performance Golf”.

With over 10 years of experience beginning at Westchester Country Club, Atkins has a diverse background in the golf industry focused on instruction, fitness, and golf technology. Not only is Atkins a renowned professional, but his background in golf technology makes him one of the few people in the country with the experience to install multiple types of simulators. He spent five years as CTO and performance coach at Golf & Body NYC before joining the River Club staff.

Highfield is the co-founder of Game Like Training Golf and has a passion for mental performance. Throughout his teaching career he has developed golfers at every level, from beginners to touring professionals. He has worked with professionals in neuroscience, psychology and other touring professional’s coaches with the goal of revolutionizing the way golf is taught.
