College Day at Fenway Park

On a cold, breezy spring day, New England PGA professionals volunteered their time to college students by giving free 10-minute lessons on “College Day” at Fenway Park on Wednesday (April 20). Hundreds of college students toured Fenway Park and participated in such activities as prize giveaways, discounted merchandise, obstacle courses, and free lessons from a PGA Professional.

One could sense the students’ interest and excitement as they were waiting for their lesson. Many students commented on how they always wanted to play, but never had the opportunity. “The New England PGA is dedicated to growing the game of golf. We are thrilled to have participated on College Day at Fenway Park,” said Jacy Settles, New England PGA Mgr. of Player Development.
