Welcome to the Vermont Chapter!

 

The Vermont Chapter of the New England Professional Golfers' Association of America, Inc. was established in 1965.  It was incorporated into a Charter Member of the New England PGA in 1982, where it continues to thrive.

 

The Vermont Chapter is directed by a five member Executive Committee, and stages over 25 events each year for Vermont PGA Professionanls, amateurs and junior golfers.  In addition to weekly Pro-Am events, the Chapter hosts the Vermont Professional Stroke Play Championship and the Vermont Professional Match Play Championship.

 

Over 90 PGA Professionals and Apprentices comprise the Vermont PGA membership, and are responsible for directing the activities at 34 PGA recognized facilities throughout the state.

 

Manchester CC Runs Away with Victory at Dorset

Dorset Field Club August 27, 2018

Manchester CC was the last team to tee off Monday at Dorset Field Club and they didn't disappoint. They ended with an incredible score of 19 under 121 (1 gross + 1 net format) to capture the victory. Coming in second and five shots back was the Dorset Field Club team led by Dustin Olehowski. Their round was highlighted by Kennedy Moore's eagle 2 on the 405 yard par 4 18th. The Kwiniaska, Tater Hill, and Country Club of Vermont teams all tied for third finishing at 10 under 130. Patrick Berry (PGA) and John Paul (PGA) shared low individual honors both posting impressive scores of 68. David Bennett (PGA) bogeyed his final two holes to finish in third place with a score of one under 69. Next up for the Vermont Chapter is the Chapter Championship at Stowe CC on September 4-5. A Tie at the Top

Sugarbush Pro-Am August 13, 2018

The Country Club of Vermont team (Ruane) and the Rutalnd CC team shared first place honors at beautiful Sugarbush Resort on Monday both posting 12 under 128 (1 best ball gross + 1 best ball net). The Vermont National team finished just one stroke back at 129 to lock up third place. Libby Smith collected her second win of the season turning in a very solid round of even par 70. Jim Gunnare was right on her heals finishing in second place with a 71. Greg Nelson ended in third place three shots back with a 73. Sean Toof and Dan Ruane won the blind draw pro/pro with a five under 65.
