Welcome to the Vermont Chapter!

 

The Vermont Chapter of the New England Professional Golfers' Association of America, Inc. was established in 1965.  It was incorporated into a Charter Member of the New England PGA in 1982, where it continues to thrive.

 

The Vermont Chapter is directed by a five member Executive Committee, and stages over 25 events each year for Vermont PGA Professionanls, amateurs and junior golfers.  In addition to weekly Pro-Am events, the Chapter hosts the Vermont Professional Stroke Play Championship and the Vermont Professional Match Play Championship.

 

Over 90 PGA Professionals and Apprentices comprise the Vermont PGA membership, and are responsible for directing the activities at 34 PGA recognized facilities throughout the state.

 

Orleans GC and Vermont National CC Take Pro-Junior Honors

Williston Pro-Junior August 6, 2018

The Orleans GC team led by two double birdies (holes 5 and 11) took first overall in the gross division shooting a very impressive seven under 135 (2 best ball gross). The Vermont National team led by Sean Toof took first place in the net division firing nine under edging out the Williston GC team led by Reece Delaire by a single shot. Patrick Berry won the professional division finishing with a score of 73. Roger King has increased his Northstar player of the year to 25 with his second place tie with Reece Delaire both shooting 74. A special thanks to LeAnna Wicks Tapp with Ping Golf and to Todd Trono with Golf Value Book for their continued support of this event year after year! Sugarbush Shines Before the Rain

CC of Barre Pro-Am July 23, 2018

The Sugarbush team led by Roger King (low professional of the day) shot a -13 129 (1 gross + 1 net) on Monday to win the CC of Barre pro-am. They took advantage of the early tee time and didn't run into weather problems until their closing hole when the skies opened up. Dave Jankowski and Reece Delaire finished second and third respectively shooting scores of 75 and 76. A special thanks to Todd Trono and Golf Value Book for sponsoring the event.
