We are proud to feature an incredible family legacy: Ted Murphy, PGA (Garrison Golf Center) and his son, Kevin... Murphy, PGA (Bradford Country Club).
NEPGA President Joanne Flynn, PGA, sat down with Ted and Kevin to discuss their massive impact on the community. From Ted purchasing Garrison Golf Center in 1969 to running their annual Santa Fund to buy holiday presents for local children, their dedication to Haverhill and the surrounding community runs deep.
They’ve also been crucial in shaping the future of the sport. Fifteen years ago, Ted and Kevin ran the pilot program for the PGA Junior League—an initiative they call one of the best in PGA history. Today, their league boasts 70 kids, and the family tradition is officially secure with Kevin’s son carrying the torch as a third-generation PGA Member!

The NEPGA had incredible bACK to bACK days on Nantucket with Pro-Am stops at @miacometgolfcourse and Sankaty Head Golf Club!
