The Youth Pillar of the PGA REACH New England seeks to improve and advance opportunities for youth. Introduction to the sport at an early age has proven to provide great opportunities in the areas of education, health and wellness and character building centered on the sport of golf.
PGA REACH New England programming will ensure that cost doesn’t prohibit youth from entering the sport and will serve as a central role in the golf industry’s effort to introduce the sport to youth of all ages and backgrounds in a safe, fun environment. Some program examples include: PGA Jr. League Golf, Drive, Chip & Putt Championship, The First Tee, NEPGA Junior Tour and more.

All registered PGA Junior League teams are eligible, with no limit to the number of teams per facility (one coach per team must be on-site). Teams will be comprised of 10 players, and will play 9-holes of two-person scramble with stroke play scoring.
PGA Jr. League brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals.
At its core, PGA Jr. League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of games against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. The program is available to boys and girls of all skill levels. PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill and character development.

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.
The New England PGA Junior Tour, founded in 1995, established a goal to help develop younger golfers as well as provide outstanding competitions on a local level. In addition, this program strives to foster sportsmanship and integrity among its members .The growth of the program has been phenomenal, and today our program consists of over 1000 junior golfers aged 9-21, and a schedule of over 100 junior tournaments per season.
