PGA HOPE

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. There is NO COST to our veterans. With your support, we serve our veterans across New England with an emphasis on helping those with physical and emotional disabilities that would most benefit from our initiative.

PGA HOPE Facts

There are more than 500 PGA HOPE programs across the country, hosted in all 50 states.
Veteran suicide is a major issue in the Veteran community, and statistics show 22 Veterans a day commit suicide. PGA HOPE is working to change this statistic by utilizing the game of golf as a form of therapy.
Participants of PGA HOPE programs include military Veterans living with physical and cognitive challenges such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and amputees, among other challenges.

In 2024, PGA HOPE will impact over 17,000 Veterans and Active Duty Military nationwide, taught by over 3,000 PGA Professionals from around the country.
PGA HOPE has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs, which enables Recreational Therapists to refer Veterans to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy.

PGA HOPE - Bedford

Patriot Golf Course and our host PGA Professionals would like to thank the many many Veterans who participated in PGA HOPE-Bedford during the 2023 season and to those that simply stopped by on a given Friday afternoon to enjoy the game!

Informal Veteran Clinics occur all season long, taking place every Friday afternoon, between 100p – 300p. Any veteran is offered an invitation to visit the facility and encouraged to bring a friend.

PGA HOPE - Boston - Signature Female Veteran Program

We’re excited to announce Winchester Country Club & Fresh Pond Golf Course will host PGA HOPE – Boston in 2024. Established in 2022, this program is one of a select few offerings in the country, specifically for Female Veterans.

New in 2024, PGA HOPE Brookline will be one of a select few offerings in the country, specifically for Collegiate Veterans.

PGA HOPE - Burlington

Burlington Country Club and hosts PGA Professionals are excited to launch the inaugural season of PGA HOPE Burlington in 2024! Beginning in May, Burlington Country Club will launch the first PGA HOPE program in the state of Vermont! Stay tuned for more updates on registration and the 2024 season.
