The New England PGA Foundation is happy to announce the return of the ‘Foundation Foursomes Auction.’ In 2018, we asked our NEPGA Professionals to consider donating a foursome for us to put up for auction. We were fortunate to have had great participation an we were able to raise over $15,000 for the New England PGA Foundation. With the money we raised from the Foundation Foursomes Auction, we were able to fully fund our Professionals Grant Program, and assist in funding our NEPGA Junior Tour, Drive, Chip & Putt Championships, PGA Junior League Championships, and PGA HOPE clinics. If you are interested in donating a foursome to this great cause, please email Christian Comeau at email@example.com

New England PGA Section partner Tournament Solutions is making a difference for the New England PGA Foundation in the 2019 season with a standing donation with purchase.
The Newburyport, MA Company has pledged to donate 10% of all purchases made by PGA Professionals to the NEPGA Foundation. In addition to this, purchases will also give the buying Professionals Clubs’ points to be entered in a larger contest.
Tournament Solutions has been a partner of the New England PGA since the early 2000s. Although they are a national company, they recognize the importance of giving back “locally”.
“We are very excited about launching “Tournament Solutions Fore the Foundation” initiative, with the PGA Section in which our business resides,” said John Lawrence, Managing Partner, Tournament Solutions. “It is in our opinion that the three pillars of the NEPGA Golf Foundation (Youth, Military and Diversity & Inclusion) are very worthy of a program such as this. What we love about this initiative is that it forms a truly unique partnership between Tournament Solutions and New England PGA Professionals (and their facilities) in that 10% of all their purchases with us will be donated back to the NEPGA Foundation in the name of their club. Knowing many of the NEPGA professionals personally, we are aware that the NEPGA Golf Foundation is extremely important to them.”

Building off a visit to the Boston Children’s Hospital in 2017 by Bob Beach, Brian Bain & Ryan Kesten, the reinvigorated NEPGA Growth of the Game Committee in conjunction with the NEPGA Foundation made a visit to the Children’s Hospital to provide some fun for children and their families visiting the world-renowned facility in the heart of Boston. Four members of the Committee were in attendance for the two-hour program; PJ Breton, PGA (Framingham CC), Jim Chojnowski, PGA (Framingham CC), Jeff Atkinson, PGA (Belmont CC) & Todd Lytle, PGA (Boothbay Harbor GC) traveled from near and far and volunteered their time to give lessons to more than 10 children and brought a much needed reprieve from the world of poking and prodding, replacing it with swinging and smiling.
Patients and families from as close as Bridgewater an as far as Saudi Arabia came through for some instruction with SNAG equipment, and left with some tee gifts courtesy of our Foundation partners Avidia Bank. The NEPGA is excited to make this a monthly program at the Boston location as well as satellite offices in Peabody & Waltham. If you would like to get involved or learn more, reach out to Dave McAdams at firstname.lastname@example.org.
