The New England PGA Board of Directors depend on all of the Committees for suggestions and reports on the various activities of the Section.
In an era of declining spare time, the work of the individual committee members should not go unnoticed… these PGA members are giving back to their Association by donating their time and their expertise. Visit the individual committee pages listed at the bottom of this page to view the members of each committee.
Mission: The Mission of the NEPGA Awards Committee is to recognize and select outstanding NEPGA Golf Professionals who have excelled in a specified area of the golf profession. The Committee will identify each award winner and Hall of Fame inductee through a transparent and unbiased process, with a goal of promoting and enhancing the skills and image of all NEPGA Professionals.
The purpose of the New England PGA Education Committee is to provide an inclusive, Section-wide platform which facilitates the development and inspires the growth of the New England PGA Professional by focusing on the following five pillars: Instruction, Merchandising, Personal Wellness, Golf Operations and Career Development.
Message from NEPGA Education Committee:
The NEPGA Education Committee would like to offer its assistance to the apprentices of our Section. Please feel free to contact the Committee members if you are having any problems. Also, we plan to set up classes and seminars aimed at helping apprentices get through the different levels. We will keep you updated with further information.
The New England PGA has and will continually work to promote the game and improve the lives of thousands of children, military veterans and their families, as well as diverse populations through golf programs throughout New England each year. The committee will also work to establish the premier offering of developmental and competitive junior golf opportunities throughout New England by supporting and promoting programs such as: Drive, Chip & Putt Championship, PGA Junior League, the NEPGA Junior Tour and Junior Scholarships. Although the NEPGA fosters competition, the New England PGA Charitable Foundation is dedicated to encourage fellowship, good sportsmanship, continued skill development, honesty, integrity and etiquette.
