Our Mission

The mission of the New England Professional Golfers’ Association is to promote the enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and the golf industry. The NEPGA will accomplish this mission by enhancing the skills of its Professionals and the opportunities for amateurs, employers, manufacturers, employees and the general public.

In so doing, the NEPGA will elevate the standards of the golf Professional’s vocation, enhance the economic well-being of the individual member, stimulate interest in the game of golf, and promote the overall vitality of the game.

Who We Are

PGA Section Offices oversee the 41 geographic regions throughout the United States and provide the grass-roots network necessary to accomplish direct communications with 25 million amateur golfers and 23,000 PGA members throughout the nation..

Each Section conducts a variety of programs and events. This includes regional qualifying tournaments for amateur events such as the PGA Team Championship and the Junior PGA Championship.They also sponsor junior clinics.

PGA Sections conduct educational programs, workshops, and seminars for the benefit of local PGA members and apprentices. They work with the PGA headquarters office to provide nationally renowned experts to participate in these programs, thus assisting PGA members in fulfilling the PGA mission statement.

The New England Professional Golfers’ Association (New England PGA) has been making the game of golf better for over 100 years in New England. As a  a non-profit association, the New England PGA is dedicated to promoting the game of golf, and is one of the 41 sections that comprise the PGA of America.

The New England PGA consists of over 900 PGA class A golf professionals and over 120 PGA associates at over 450 golf facilities in five states – Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. These facilities include public, private, and resort facilities that provide golf courses, teaching centers, and driving ranges.
