Details: Open to NEPGA Professionals and an Executive (Board Member, Club Owner, General Manager) from their facility. This is a unique and exceptional opportunity for the PGA Professional to demonstrate his or her value in the club's golf operation, while also focusing on effective ways the Professional and Executive can collaborate to influence and strengthen club membership, improve the overall golf operation and develop new ways to grow the game of golf. Ted Eleftheriou, PGA (Director of Golf Program Development, PGA of America) will lead a workshop in the morning. The Workshop is entitled "The PGA Professional as the Driver of Consumer Engagement," and its focus is on:

-Increasing awareness of the value of the PGA Professional
-Exploring strategies for attracting and retaining new and existing customers
-Exploring the "WHY" of doing business
-Quantifying and measuring the financial and facility impact of player development activities

Following the workshop, an informal golf event will take place in the afternoon. This places each Professional and his/her invited Executive an an informal environment in which they can continue to build their personal relationship. Finally, the day comes to a close with a casual closing reception for all attendees.

Maine Chapter Titleist Golf Ball & Club Fitting Seminar
 
Date & Time: Thursday, April 27, 2017  11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Location: Augusta Country Club, 19 Hammonds Grove, Manchester, ME 04351
MSR: 3 PGA Education MSR Credits
Cost: $15 (lunch is included)
Details: Michael Rich who is head of Titleist Golf Ball Fitting Department and Frederick Waddell from the Titleist Research and Development Division along with Greg Ludes will be presenting.

Michael and Frederick will discuss ball fitting, wedge fitting, manufacturing, and merchandising and Frederick Waddell will be discussing proper golf ball fitting. This is an extraordinary opportunity with ample amounts of knowledge to be gained through these gentlemen.

It would be beneficial to all parties involved if we could get a head count, so if you plan on attending please register soon!

Making Golf Accessible Seminar

Details: Join Bob Beach, PGA and Rick Johnson, PGA for a workshop on making golf accessible for those with disabilities.  After years of experience, Bob was awarded with the 2014 Special Olympics Conrad Rehling Award for his dedication and service to Special Olympics through the game of golf.
