The Youth Pillar of the PGA REACH New England seeks to improve and advance opportunities for youth. Introduction to the sport at an early age has proven to provide great opportunities in the areas of education, health and wellness and character building centered on the sport of golf.
PGA REACH New England programming will ensure that cost doesn’t prohibit youth from entering the sport and will serve as a central role in the golf industry’s effort to introduce the sport to youth of all ages and backgrounds in a safe, fun environment. Some program examples include: PGA Jr. League Golf, Drive, Chip & Putt Championship, The First Tee, NEPGA Junior Tour and more.
The New England PGA Junior Tour, founded in 1995, established a goal to help develop younger golfers as well as provide outstanding competitions on a local level.
