BOYLSTON, Mass. – The New England PGA Section is excited to cheer on 14 Section Professionals as they compete in the 2025 PGA Professional Championship from Sunday, April 27th through Wednesday, April 30th at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL.

The PGA Professional Championship, the national championship for PGA of America Golf Professionals from across the country, features a 312-player field representing all 41 PGA of America Sections.

The Champion and the top 20 finishers in the PGA Professional Championship will be named to the Corebridge Financial Team and will advance into the 2025 PGA Championship field at Quail Hollow Club May 12-18, 2025. The newly-minted PGA Professional Champion receives exemptions into six PGA Tour events over the next 12 months.

The PGA Professional Championship has served as a showcase event for PGA of America Golf Professionals since 1968. The field consists of past Champions, the top 20 players and ties from the previous year’s Championship as well as players qualifying through Section Championships.

The Championship will offer a $750,000 purse and $66,700 to the Champion. A 36-hole cut will take place Monday to the low 90 scorers and ties, and a 54-hole cut Tuesday to the low 70 scorers and ties.

All four rounds will be broadcast by NBC/Golf Channel. All times listed are Eastern.

  • Sunday, April 27: 4-6 p.m. (NBC Sports App & Web) and 7-9 p.m. (GOLF Channel tape delay)
  • Monday, April 28 – Wednesday, April 30: 3 – 6 p.m. (GOLF Channel)
