Thank you to Tony DiGiorgio, PGA and Crystal Lake Golf Club in quaint Mapleville, RI for hosting the 2018 Rhode Island PGA Chapter Spring Meeting!!!

For those that missed out on a crisp and placid Crystal Lake day, many of the Rhode Island Chapter Professionals filled into a cozy wood beam exposed room at an expansive club house complex to take in the vistas and voices of some very eloquent speakers. The meeting was informative, productive, and well orchestrated in a manner that provided some entertainment without constraining the schedules of those in attendance. Thanks to this structure, Mr. DiGiorgio was able to block off tee times for attendees that wished to tee it up. Teeing it up with Tony was a real treat and I would have to state that those who could not attend, simply missed out. Crystal Lake GC is a gem of gently rolling elevation fairways, decision-making bunker placements, green complexes that challenge your approach shot technical skills and creativity, and sprinkled with interesting vistas that are great topics to discuss. Over it was a great day with all-star professionals at a course in great shape that showcased a couple of Tony DiGiorgio’s fine birdie making skills.

Now, here are a couple of the notable points from the meeting…
