BOYLSTON, Mass. – The 2019 New England PGA Tournament season is just around the corner, kicking off April 16 with the NEPGA Pro-Am at Marshfield CC (Marshfield, Mass.). The full slate features 32 regional events, including seven Championship events, six stroke play events that make up the Avidia cup, and the New England Open. Tournament registration opens March 15.

The first stroke play event is April 22 at Newport National (Middletown, R.I.) and the series also includes 18-hole tournaments in June, July, August and September before the Avidia Cup Finals on Sept. 30 at Marlborough CC (Marlborough, Mass.).

The first Championship event of the 2019 season will be the Pro-Pro Match Play Championship at Kirkbrae CC (Lincoln, R.I.) May 13-15. The NEPGA Pro-Am Championship, contested at Pinehills Golf Club (Plymouth, Mass.) follows on May 28 before Championship season ramps up in August and September. The Section Championship, Aug. 5-7, will be played at Concord Country Club (Concord, N.H.) and Manchester Country Club (Bedford, N.H.). The Senior Championship follows two weeks later, Aug. 20-21 at Woodstock Country Club (Woodstock, Vt.). Next up is the National Car Rental Assistant’s Championship, Sept. 16-17 at Pocasset Golf Club (Pocasset, Mass.), followed by the Head Pro Championship and Teaching Pro Championships, both contested at Weston Golf Club (Weston, Mass.) on Sept. 23.

The New England Open will return to The Quechee Club (Quechee, Vt.) June 4-5.

The annual Cape Cod Fall Fest will send the 2019 season out on a high note, with four tournaments scheduled over a four day stretch (Oct. 15-18) at Oyster Harbors, Hyannisport, Cape Cod National, and the Wianno Club. The regional schedule will officially wrap up Oct. 23 with the NEPGA Scholarship Pro-Am at Eastward Ho! Country Club (Chatham, Mass.).
