Whitinsville, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted the 2026 Whitinsville Pro-Am on Monday, June 15th, bringing together PGA Professionals and amateurs from across New England for a day of competition. Teams competed in a two-best-ball format, with Professionals leading three amateur partners in pursuit of the victory.

Bob Bruso, PGA led his team from Worcester Country Club to the top of the leaderboard, finishing with a 6-stroke gap between 1st and 2nd place. Bruso was joined by amateurs, Taylor Fontaine,  David Gow, and Rich Armstrong, shooting 12-under, 128 overall. Their scorecard was highlighted by 2 eagles, on holes 4 and 10. They also carded 8 birdies on the day.

The Whitinsville Golf Club team, led by PGA Professional Jenny Walsh, finished in second place finish in the team division with a combined score of 6-under-par 134. Walsh was joined by amateurs Curtis Bourque, Matt Peladeau, and Ed Peladeau, whose strong play throughout the round helped secure the victory.

Bruso also walked away with the Individual Professional Division title. He shot 5-under, 65 with an impressive 6 birdies on his scorecard. He was the only Professional to finish under-par, with the next best score coming in at 3-over. Peter Ruyman, PGA (Marshfield CC) and Jeff Monteleone, PGA (Bellevue GC) shared second place.
