Dear Maine Chapter Members,

It is with great pride that I announce the 2025 Maine Chapter Award Winners, a group of outstanding professionals who have demonstrated leadership, dedication, and excellence in growing the game of golf in the State of Maine. This year, we are especially honored to recognize Tom Moffatt, PGA of Cape Arundel Golf Club as the 2025 Golf Professional of the Year.

Throughout his career, Tom has embodied the highest standards of professionalism and service, always striving to be the best in every aspect of his role. Tom began working at Cape Arundel in the spring of 2010 and has served as the Director of Golf since 2019. As he steps away from that role, his legacy of leadership at Cape Arundel Golf Club will continue to set a benchmark for excellence.

Beyond his facility, Tom has been an integral part of the Maine Chapter throughout the years, serving on the board and volunteering on various committees. His contributions extended further as he took on the role of Tournament Operations Manager for the 2014-2016 seasons all while keeping his full-time role at Cape Arundel.

Tom’s impact is felt far beyond his club. His passion for junior golf and community engagement has introduced the game to countless young players through clinics, school programs, and partnerships with local parks and recreation departments. He has also helped to grow the game by hosting Drive, Chip, and Putt and junior golf events.

Tom’s influence, professionalism, and generosity have left a lasting mark on the Maine Chapter and the broader golf community. As he transitions from his role at Cape Arundel, we are proud to recognize his contributions and celebrate his incredible impact.

In addition to honoring Tom, we recognize the outstanding achievements of the following award winners:
