Plymouth, MA — The Cape Cod Chapter Pro-Junior brought energy and excitement to Squirrel Run Country Club on Tuesday, August 5, as PGA Professionals teamed up with four junior golfers in a best ball format that delivered low scores and lots of fun!

Two teams tied for the overall title at 14-under-par 43. Nick Fantasia of Mt. Pleasant Golf Club and Ae Cahill of Ae Game Golf led their respective squads to the top with matching nines of 23-20. Both professionals guided their juniors with steady play, but it was Cahill who stood out individually.

Ae Cahill delivered a bogey-free round of 7-under-par 50 (27-23), making seven birdies and no mistakes on the compact and challenging layout. He was the only player in the field to go without a bogey, securing low professional honors by a five-shot margin.

Finishing just one stroke back at 13-under 44 were the teams of Randy Grills (Duxbury Yacht Club) and Ben Egan (The Bay Club at Mattapoisett), while host professional David Moore and his Squirrel Run juniors finished solo fifth with a strong 12-under-par 45.

On the individual leaderboard, Greg Kelly (Bay Club) claimed second place with a 2-under 55, while Brian Spitz (PGA Tour Superstore – Braintree) and Ben Egan tied for third at even-par 57.

Special thanks go to host PGA Professional Dave Moore and the team at Squirrel Run for their hospitality and course preparation. The Chapter also extends its appreciation to longtime event partner David Moynihan, PGA, and Cleveland/Srixon Golf, who have supported the Pro-Junior for over 20 years.
