South Burlington, VT – A hot day was among the golfers this week with temperatures reaching into the 90’s and scores going under par. Williston Golf Club had a great showing, bringing three teams into the field at The Farrell Distributing Pro – Am at Vermont National Country Club. Todd Trono and his team from Williston Golf Club shot an impressive 16 – under this week to take the win in the team game. Michael Amendola from Williston Golf Club shot the low round of the week with a 4 – under par 68 to win the Individual Professional.
Coming In second place in the team game this week was Alex Sheehey and his team from Country Club of Vermont with 12 – under par 132. Third place was David Jankowski and his team from Golf Garage VT with 11 – under par 133. Fourth place is Michael Amendola and his team from Williston Golf Club with 10 – under par 134. Three way tie for Fifth place in the team game Jason Sherman from the Kwini Club, Paul Politano from Ralph Myhre Golf Course, and Ian Willikens from Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Mark Field shooting rounds of 7 – under par 137.
David Jankowski (Golf Garage VT) came in second with a round of 1 – under par 71 in the Individual Professional game. Josh Upson (CC of Vermont) came in third with a round of 1 – over par 73. Alex Sheehey (CC of Vermont) placed fourth with a round of 2 – over par 74. Tobias Young (Willowbend Country Club) came in fifth place with a round of 3 – over par 75. Three way tie for sixth place with Roger King (Sugarbush Golf Club), Todd Trono (Williston Golf Club), Eric Lindahl (Montcalm Golf Club) with rounds of 4 – over par 76. Rounding out the top ten is Curt Goldsberry (The Quechee Club) with a round of 5 – over par 77. Kellen Peery (Golf Garage VT) with a round of 6 – over par 76.
