The par-5’s were Anzlovar’s favorite holes at Portsmouth CC. After posting an early bogey on the second hole, he carded his first birdie of the day on the par-5 4th hole. He traded a bogey and birdie on holes 8 and 9 to make the turn at even-par. The highlight of his scorecard came on the par-5 11th hole as he banked an eagle to move to 2-under. A bogey on the par-3 13th brough Anzlovar to 1-under and he moved back to 2-under with another birdie on the par-5 14th hole. One final bogey on 17 put him at the final 1-under, and at the top of the scoreboard.

Fairbanks teed off the 10th hole in the morning wave. After making the turn at 2-over, he went on to card 3 birdies on the back-nine to jump to 1-under and join Anzlovar at the top of the leaderboard.

Fairbank’s team, including amateurs, Tad Woosley, Sam Rotondo, and Brandon Wohl earned first place in the 2 BB of 4, 1 Gross +1 Net division by just 1 stroke.
