Matt Arvanitis of Southern New Hampshire University went out first and posted a 3 under par 67 which stayed at the top of the Individual Professional Leaderboard all day at the New Hampshire PGA Pro Am at Derryfield CC on Monday. Host Professional Cory Mansfield was just one shot back at 68 followed by Mitch Jefferson from Rochester CC at 69.

Arvanitis and his partners, Matt Paradis, Matt Burroughs and Joe Bowker also won the team Best Ball Gross competition with a 10 under par 60. Derryfield’s Ben Stone and his amateur partners, Demetri Stamoulis, Jon Bourque and Austin Fox were next at 61. Fox had the round of the day, a bogey free, 7 under par 63. Danny Kish of The Indoor Golf Club took 3rd place at 62 with his team of Allison Wilkins, Tyler Angle and Mackenzie Quinn.

Eric Soderman from Hoodkroft CC and his partners Ryan Curtin, Robbie DeFeo and Brian Nadeau caught fire and led the field in the Best Ball Net category with a 15 under par 55. Tied for second at 11 under par 59 were Josh Lacasse’s team from Beaver Meadow made up of Jim Cilley, Corey LaRoche and Matt Goslant, and Jim Gunnare’s group from Apple Hill with John Hiney, Tony Fournier and Mike Jonis.

Our hosts Cory Mansfield, PGA Head Professional, Ben Stone, PGA Assistant Professional. Jeff Rader, Superintendent and CFO Jen Mansfield had “The Moon” more than ready for this event. It was a great day to hang out on the famous deck overlooking the course after the round.
