Stowe, VT – A beautiful Monday helped kick off the Pro- Lady event this week at Stowe Country Club. Each Club Professional was able to bring three women with them to compete in a 2 best ball gross and 2 best ball net format.
In the Gross division, Todd Trono and the team from Williston Golf Club, Jeanne Morrissey, Annie Goff, and Wendy Drolette won in a card off by shooting 143 1-under Par. Coming in Second Place, Ryan Kesten and the team from Vermont National Country Club Michelle Rocheleau, Kanika Gandhi, and Mary Farley shot a round of 144 even Par.
In the Net division, the host professional Dan Ruane and the team from Stowe Country Club, Jena Wood, Joanne Priestley, and Amy Butcher shot an impressive round of 129 15-under Par! In second place we had a tie between Susan Fasoldt and the team of Dorset Field Club Lesley Brodie, Jen Shaw, Els Walker, and David Bennet and the team from Country Club of Vermont Dede Mahler, Lisa Carrick and Cindy McKechnie shooting rounds of 135 9-under Par.
David Bennett (Country Club of Vermont) had an impressive round of 6-under Par 66 to hold off a four way tie for second place between Dan Ruane (Stowe Country Club) Aiden Melville (Country Club of Vermont) John Paul (Kwiniaska Golf Club) and Ryan Kesten (Vermont National Country Club) with rounds of 74 2-over Par. Rounding out the top 10, Susan Fasoldt (Dorset Field Club) with a round of 75 3-over Par, Dustin Ribolini (The Quechee Club) 76 4-over Par, Jason Sherman (Country Club of Vermont) 77 5-over Par, Mike Slayton (Cedar Knoll Country Club) 77 5-over Par, Brennan Earls (Vermont Golf Association) 79 7-over Par, and Todd Trono (Williston Golf Club) 82 10-over Par.
