Kennebunk, Maine – The New England PGA hosted the 2025 Golf-Pro Payments Pro-Am Championship at Webhannet Golf Club on a beautiful Tuesday following Memorial Day. 32 teams came out to play in the 36-Hole, Four-Ball Stroke Play event. The two rounds were held as shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The team of Rich Berberian, Jr., PGA (Vesper CC) and Derek Wayman took home the cup, shooting 14-under, 128, over 36 holes. The duo was tied for ninth place after the first round as they shot a 3-under, 68. They finished round 1 with 5 birdies and went on to card an additional 9 birdies and one eagle in round two. The eagle came on the par-5 8th hole.

Dan Gillis, PGA (Nabnasset Lake CC) and his partner, Mike Schnyer (a) took home solo second place at 11-under overall. After finishing round 1 in a tie for 16th place at just 2-under (69), the duo turned it on for round 2 and put up 8 birdies and one eagle, on the par-5 14th hole to make their way up the leaderboard.

Three teams tied for third place overall: the team of Cory Mansfield, PGA (Derryfield CC) and Austin Fox, host Professional, Eric Higgins, PGA (Webhannet GC) and Todd Kim (a), and the Ferncroft CC team of Bill Cunningham, PGA and Mike Malley (a). They all shoot 9-under, 133s, over the 36 holes.

Mansfield and Fox were tied for first place after the first round as they shot a 6-under, 65. The Derryfield team finished the day with nine birdies and one eagle on the scorecard.

Higgins and Kim were tied for ninth place following round 1 at 3-under. The duo went on to add 8 birdies through the second round to climb their way to a share of third place.

Cunningham and Malley were in 7th place at 4-under heading into the second round. They posted 10 birdies and 1 eagle on the par-5 17th hole in the first round.
