Hyde Park, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted Stroke Play #3 at George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, on Monday, July 20. The one-day stroke play competition featured New England PGA Professionals competing for top honors on one of the region’s historic municipal layouts.

Rich Berberian, PGA (Vesper Country Club) claimed the Individual Professional title after firing a 4-under-par 66. Berberian’s steady round featured five birdies, including a 3-under-par front nine, to finish atop the leaderboard.

James Burke, PGA finished runner-up at 3-under-par 67 after recording five birdies of his own. Burke made his move early with a 2-under-par front nine, remaining in contention throughout the round.

Ed Kirby, PGA, Jeff Martin, PGA, and Matthew Hillier, PGA shared third place at 2-under-par 68. Kirby got off to a fast start with a 3-under-par front nine before closing with an even-par back nine, while Martin and Hillier each carded steady rounds to earn a share of third.
