NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Rich Berberian Jr., PGA (Vesper CC) carded a one-over 71 in the NEPGA Pro +1 Am at Country Club of New Bedford Monday. The Berberian-led Vesper team finished the one best ball format at two-under 68 to claim that victory as well.

Liam Friedman, PGA (Nashawtuc CC), posted a final score of 73 while playing in Berberian’s group to finish second among professionals. The Friedman-led Nashawtuc team finished at four-under 66 to win the net best ball format.
Berberian started the shotgun event on 13 with a birdie and added another on 16 to quickly move to two-under. He rattled off nine straight pars after making the turn to the front before a pair of bogeys on the final three holes pushed his score to +1.
Kyle Puzzo, PGA (Worcester CC) started on 7 and recorded back-to-back bogeys to begin the round. From there, Puzzo played his final 16 holes at +1 to card a 73 and finish solo third.
