Bob Beach, PGA Named 2026 Adaptive Golf Hall of Fame Inductee

The New England PGA is thrilled to celebrate one of its most revered and impactful members, Bob Beach, PGA, on his induction into the prestigious Adaptive Golf Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2026.

Administered by the National Alliance for Accessible Golf, the Hall of Fame operates under the guiding motto Aliis Servire (To Serve Others), honoring individuals who go above and beyond to create lasting pathways into golf for individuals with disabilities.

A Class A Member of the PGA of America since 1985, Beach served for decades as the highly respected Head Golf Professional at Braintree Municipal Golf Course. Following his retirement from day-to-day operations, he co-founded Golf For All, a premier regional non-profit dedicated to accessible sports programming where he continues to serve as Chairman and lead clinical instructor.

A Career of Service & Impact


  • Four Decades of Adaptive Instruction: Began in 1981 by personally coaching blind WWII veteran Billy Peduto, laying the foundation for a career rooted in the philosophy that golf belongs to individuals of all abilities.
  • Veterans & Therapeutic Milestones: Established free weekly clinics for military veterans at Braintree Municipal and Brockton VA Hospital (completing over 500 visits). Partnered with Beth Israel Hospital since 2007 to craft specialized golf therapy for individuals battling Parkinson’s, Lewy Body Dementia, and Alzheimer’s.
  • Golf For All Foundation: Since 2011, the foundation has delivered over 1,600 free clinics serving more than 11,000 diverse participants, expanding clinic sessions into 2025.
  • Peer Leadership: Mentored dozens of golf professionals and inspired over 100 PGA peers to launch volunteer-driven adaptive initiatives across their own facilities.

Beach is a highly decorated recipient of nine New England PGA Section awards (including 2005 Teacher of the Year and 2008 Golf Professional of the Year), the 2013 National PGA Patriot Award, and a 2014 inductee of the NEPGA Hall of Fame. In 2023, his profound legacy was permanently institutionalized with the creation of the annual “Bob Beach Award” by Special Olympics Massachusetts, Mass Golf, and the NEPGA.
