Lake Morey Capture Pro Senior Title for Second Time in Three Years

For the second time in three years the Lake Morey Resort team of Justin Bonnett, Rich Parker,
Andy Hunnewell, and Don Weisburger captured the VTPGA Pro Senior Championship (2 Best
Balls Gross) which was held this past Monday at Stowe CC. Lake Morey finished with double
birdies on holes 17 and 18 to finish at a score of 13 under par 131. The Burlington CC team led
by David Jankowski an shot eight under par 136 coming in second place. Rounding out the top
three in the gross division was the CC of Vermont team captained by Michael Slayton. They
ended up at a very respectable five under par. Basin Habor Club led by Alex Socinski took the
net division honors posting a two best ball net score of 17 under par 127.

David Jankowski won the individual division posting a wonderful round of 66 (33-33). He made
birdies on holes 12, 13, 14, and 16 to hold of Roger King who finished in second place with a
round of four under par 68 (34-34). David Bennett finished in third place posting a two under par
70. With this win David Jankowski has moved to within 17 points of David Bennett in the player
of the year standings. Roger King remains
