MARSHFIELD, Mass.- Brockton Country Club’s Rob Bradley and LeBaron Hills Country Club’s Tom Rooney teamed up on Tuesday to shoot a 7-under 63 which resulted in a five-shot victory at the Massachusetts Chapter Spring Meeting Pro-Pro.

Bradley and Rooney made a staggering nine birdies on Marshfield Country Club’s par-70 layout.  After making a bogey on their opening hole, Bradley and Rooney birdied five of their next eight holes to go out in 3-under 32. Their back nine included a stretch of five birdies in six holes from holes 13 through 17, some of the hardest on the course.

Following Bradley and Rooney was a three-team tie for second place at 2-under 68. Those teams were Chris Houston & Carter White (Laconia CC), Matt Lombard & Rob Neaton (North Andover CC), and Jim Clay & Andrew Stolze (The Club at New Seabury).

It was a great day at Marshfield CC for the Massachusetts Chapter which also held its Spring Meeting prior to the tournament. Fifty plus Chapter members participated in a new collaborative format focused on important industry topics. It was great to have such a nice gathering to kick off the 2023 season.

Thank you to Marshfield Country Club, General Manager James Antonelli, PGA, Head Professional Alec Vozzella, PGA, and Superintendent Tom Harrington for being fantastic hosts!
