EAST PROVIDENCE, RI- The Rhode Island Chapter held its first Pro-Am of the season on Tuesday at Agawam Hunt. This tournament served as a Section Championship preview, with Agawam Hunt set to co-host the New England PGA Championship with Kirkbrae Country Club September 5th through 7th.

Brockton Country Club’s Rob Bradley shot a 3-under 66 on the par 69 Donald Ross track to secure the victory in the individual professional competition. Bradley’s card included two birdies and two eagles, with the eagles coming on the par-5 4th hole as well as a hole out on the par-4 17th hole which was playing at 369 yards.

Bob Tramonti (Triggs Memorial GC) finished in second place with a score of even par 69, followed by Brendon Ray (Point Judith CC) who shot a 1-over 70 to finish in third place.

Rob Bradley and his teammates from Brockton CC also took home the victory in the team competition firing the low score of 11-under 127. Bradley was joined on the winning team by Paul Carrozza, Mike Colella, and Hank Durden.

Second place ended in a three-way tie with Sakonnet GC, Triggs Memorial GC, and Point Judith CC all shooting 9-under 127 just two shots behind Brockton CC.
