FRISCO, Texas – Robert Bruso, PGA (Worcester Country Club) battled through the first two rounds of the 2024 PGA Professional Championship to make the cut and move on to round 3 on Tuesday, April 30th at Fields Ranch at PGA Frisco. Inclement weather increased difficulty in play for all players throughout round 1 and ultimately pushed back starting times for both rounds 1 and 2 on Sunday, April 28th and Monday, April 29th.
Bruso shot a 77 through round 1 at Fields Ranch East Course. He moved way up the leaderboard after shooting a 2-under, 70, in Round 2 at Fields Ranch West Course on Tuesday. He carded four birdies throughout the second round. Bruso kicked off round 3 at 2:41 PM on Tuesday, April 30th at Fields Ranch East Course.
Bruso was one of 14 New England PGA of America Professionals who traveled to Frisco, Texas, qualifying for the 2024 PGA Professional Championship. He was the lone NEPGA Professional to make the cut.
