VERGENNES, VT- The Vermont Chapter Pro-Am at Basin Harbor saw multiple teams shoot extremely low scores, with two teams tying at 11-under 131.  In a tie for first place were the teams of Burlington Country Club and Williston Golf Club lead by PGA Professionals David Jankowski and Toby Young.

COMPLETE RESULTS

Jankowski, along with his amateur partners Jon Guyette, Israel Maynard, and Jed Dousevicz, came out firing on the front nine.  The team made 3 eagles along with 3 birdies on the front to go out in 8-under 62.  They were able to continue their strong play on the back 9 making 4 birdies along with one bogey, which was good enough to tie them for the lead.

Williston Golf Club also showed outstanding play on the front 9.  The team made birdies on six of their first nine holes on their way to a score of 64.  On the back 9 they were able to shoot a 4-under 67, finishing their round in style with an eagle on the 18th hole.  Toby Young was joined by his amateur partners Phil Lyon, Kaden Swett, and Evan Forrest.

In third place, finishing at 8-under 134 was the team from Basin Harbor lead by Head Professional Alex Socinski.

The Individual Professional competition saw two players from Burlington Country Club finish at the top of the leaderboard.  David Jankowski posted the low score of the day with a 2-under 69.  Kevin Bennison shot a 1-under 70 to finish in second.  Alex Socinski and Kevin Casby, both from Basin Harbor, tied for third place with a score of 73.
