WATERBURY, Vt. – The Burlington Country Club team led by PGA Professional David Jankowski shot a 13-under 134 to capture the team title at the Vermont Chapter Pro-Am hosted by Country Club of Vermont.

COMPLETE RESULTS

Burlington’s impressive round included four eagles and seven birdies to go along with just two bogeys.  Joining Jankowski on the winning team were his amateur partners Jon Guyette, Braden Harden, and Kevin Drury.

In what was a tightly contented tournament, four teams finished in a tie for second place at 12-under par.  Those teams were the Kwiniaska Club, Ralph Myhre Golf Course, The Quechee Club (Goldsberry), and Worcester Country Club.

In the Individual Professional competition, the Chapter’s top two players on the points list battled it out once again for first place. In this instance a solo winner was not decided as David Bennett of Country Club of Vermont and David Jankowski finished in a tie for first place at 2-under par 70.  Playing at his home course, Bennett rattled off 5 birdies including 2 in his final four holes.  Jankowski was able to match that effort by making 6 birdies during his round on his way to shooting 2-under 70.

Thank you to Country Club of Vermont’s General Manager & Director of Golf, David Bennett, as well as Superintendent Mark Finch.  The Vermont Chapter would also like to thank our presenting partner for this event, Northstar Fireworks!
