BOYLSTON, Mass. — The New England PGA is proud to announce the appointment of Carrie Belden as the Section’s new Director of Membership, Administration & Special Events.
Carrie brings more than 25 years of experience in golf operations and administrative leadership to the NEPGA. Her deep-rooted passion for fostering strong, lasting relationships with both members and colleagues makes her an ideal addition to the team.
Originally from Newport, RI, Carrie relocated to the Worcester area when her husband, Allan, became the Head Golf Professional at Worcester Country Club. For over 20 years, she played a pivotal role at Worcester CC as the Golf Shop Manager, where she was responsible for business operations and behind-the-scenes management of the golf shop.
“Having spent much of my career in the golf industry, I’m excited to broaden my impact and contribute to the game on a larger scale,” said Belden. “This new role allows me to gain a wider perspective of the golf community while continuing to support those who make it thrive.”
Following her time at the club, Carrie served as an Executive Assistant at Phoenix Communications, where she supported a range of functions including administration, HR, and event coordination—further sharpening the organizational and interpersonal skills she now brings to the NEPGA.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Carrie to the team,” said Mike Higgins, NEPGA Executive Director. “Her extensive experience and proven leadership will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional service to our PGA Professionals and strengthen the overall member experience.”
