After another rain out last week, this week also looked bleak. However the costal storm moved out to sea and allowed us to play the pro am this week at Cochecho CC in Dover. A large turnout of 34 teams (136 players) came to compete in the 1 BB Gross or 1 BB Net contests. The day wasn’t exactly perfect, clouds and temps in the 60’s greeted the players as they wacked it around the course.

The Pro contest Joe Finemore of Portsmouth and Eric Sandstrum of Keene shot a pair of 2 under 68’s to tie the top spot. Lucas Langelier of Cochecho, Austin Baker of Souhegan Woods,  and Mitch Jefferson of Rochester shot 1 under par 69’s to tie for 3rd place. Jay Pollini of Ridgewood shot an even par 70 to come in 6th. Sam Read of Den Brae had a 1 over 71 to place 7th. Three players shot 2 over 72 to tie for 8th place. They were Sam Cody of Stonebridge, Bailey Nangle of The Vineyard, and Cory Mansfield of Derryfield.

The 1 BB Gross division the team from Keene led by Nate Faulkner shot an impressive 12 under 58 to win by 5 strokes. His team consisted of Kurt Eddins, Sam Fuller, and Ryan Fuller. The team from Beaver Meadow led by Phil Davis came in at 7 under 63. His team was Glenn Shattuck, Corey LaRoche, and Steve Veilleux. Also shooting a 63 to tie for the 2nd  spot, was the team from About Golf led by Matt Delois with teammates Jim Cilley, Dave Perry, and Dan Doyle.

The 1 BB Net division two teams tied for the top spot shooting 11 under. The teams were Cochecho led by Lucas Langelier and teammates Sam Weber, Mike Carrabba, and Chris Serrecchia. The other team was from The Coach Club led by Rico Riciputi and his team of Michael Pagan, Mark Fichera, Chuck Lancaster.

We would like to thank Tim Loch and the Cochecho staff for a wonderful day. The course is in great shape with the greens running smooth and true. Also a thank you to our Partner for the day, New England Golf Cars. They have been a long standing partner with the NHC and the NEPGA, we are lucky to have them.

Next week the circuit travels to Bald Peak Colony. This is a limited field and is invite only. 26 teams will participate.
