Sam Cody of Stonebridge CC was the only player under par, firing a 2 under 70 in the season’s final Pro-Am at Laconia CC on Monday. Cody made three birdies against only one bogey on his way to the win. Four players tied for 2nd at even par 72 including Vince Molesky (Apple Hill), Josh Lacasse (Beaver Meadow), Jay Pollini (The Oaks) and Joe Finemore (Portsmouth).

The win for Cody sealed the second-place spot in the Davis and Towle Insurance Player of the Year standings edging out Cory Mansfield, who finished third, by only 1 point. Jay Pollini clinched the number one position last week.

On the Pro-Am team side, Matt DeLois of Concord CC paired up with Dave Perry, Dan Doyle and Nate Kosko to top the field at 13 under par 131 in the Best Ball Gross/Net Combined.  Pollini and his team of Tim Melanson, Josh Johnson and Ben Ekstrom were 2nd at 134 followed by Laconia Assistant Professional, Chris Houston, Justin Dockham, Bill Raney and Mike Handrahan at 135.

Unseasonably warm temperatures made for a spectacular day to wind up the season’s NHPGA schedule. The golf course was in mid-season form thanks to Randy Weeks, superintendent and his crew.
