BRANDON, Vt. – Williston Golf Club and PGA Professional Toby Young won their second consecutive Pro-Am when the Vermont Chapter visited Neshobe Golf Club on Monday.

COMPLETE RESULTS

Young and his partners Todd Laforce, Cam Fitzgerald, and Evan Forrest combined to record the winning score of 6-under 138. After making their only bogey of the round on the 1st hole, Williston rattled off birdies on holes 4, 5, and 8 in addition to a double eagle on the par- 4 7th hole. The back nine played slightly tougher for Williston who made their lone bogey on the 15th hole to go along with eight pars.

Second place was split four ways between teams finishing at 4-under 140. Those teams included Ekwanok CC (Tom Mackey), Proctor Pittsford CC (Del Binaco), Willowbend CC (Danny Caverly), and Kwiniaska Golf Club (John Paul).

In his first ever New England PGA event, Rob Del Bianco won low pro honors for the day with a score of 3-over 75. Del Bianco went out in 1-over with birdies on the 2nd and 7th hole. He hit a speed bump on the back nine playing holes 12 through 14 in four over par. But he quickly responded by making back to back birdies on the 16th and 17th holes to finish at 3-over and securing a 1-shot victory.

In a tie for second place at 4-over 76 were PGA Professionals Brennan Earls (Northfield CC) , Susan Fasoldt (Dorest Field Club), and Tom Mackey (Ekwanok CC).

On behalf of the Vermont Chapter thank you to Neshobe Golf Club owners Robert and Jonathan Milne, as well as General Manager Matt Wilson and Golf Course Superintendent Cody Larson for hosting being great hosts.
