RYE, NH – The Stroke Play event at Abenaqui Country Club featured a strong field and several impressive rounds highlighted by low scoring at the top of the leaderboard. The early morning rain did not affect the players as Nolan Donze of Golf Academy of New England captured the top spot with an outstanding 4-under-par 68, the only round under par on the day. Allan Lockwood of Boothbay Harbor, Maine followed with an even-par 72, putting together a steady performance from start to finish. Nicholas Pandelena of Atkinson Resort & CC finished third after carding a 2-over 74, while Tyler Adair posted a 3-over 75 to take fourth place. Ryan Maguire rounded out the top five with a 4-over 76.

In the skins competition Nolan Donze led the way with three outright wins on holes 1, 6, and 8, separating himself from the field with a strong front-nine performance. Sam Holden was the next to break through, claiming the par-3 4th with a birdie. Brandon Singer answered on the par-5 5th, adding another solo skin before the turn. The back nine featured plenty of tied holes, but a few players were able to grab clean wins down the stretch. Tyler Adair secured a skin on the 13th, PJ Barbella followed with one on 14, and Varun Anand closed out the individual winners with a birdie on the par-3 16th.

The event showcased competitive scoring throughout the field and another successful day of tournament golf at Abenaqui Country Club. Thank you to Jim Schouller, PGA and his team for hosting the NEAA.
