IPSWICH, Mass. – The New England Assistants’ Association hosted its Pro-Pro event at Ipswich Country Club, bringing 18 NEAA members together for a day of competitive golf and camaraderie.
Brian Dunleavy and Athan Goulos of Pure Drive Golf captured the Pro-Pro title with an outstanding 8-under-par 64, finishing four strokes ahead of Tyler Adair and Brandon Singer, who posted a 4-under-par 68. Jake Meisner and Shamus Landers of Franklin Country Club, along with Trey Hoepner and Matt Robbins of Meadow Brook Country Club, shared third place at 1-under-par 71. Christopher Sinopoli and Justin Guiliano and Ryan Small and Varun Anand rounded out the top five, tying for fifth at 2-over-par 74.
The event also featured a competitive skins game throughout the round. Paul Champagne and Travis Askinasi led the skins competition, earning two skins on the 9th and 15th hole. Brian Dunleavy and Athan Goulos also had a strong showing, collecting a skin with an eagle on the par-5 10th hole. Ryan Small and Varun Anand earned their lone skin on second hole, while Christopher Sinopoli and Justin Guiliano capturing their birdie on the 7th hole with Trey Hoepner and Matt Robbins earning a birdie on hole 12.
