This week’s recap of The New Hampshire Chapter of the New England PGA’s Pro-Am event at Stonebridge Country Club will begin by highlighting an incredible amateur achievement. Carys Fennessy of Dover, NH who plays golf for The College of Charleston, fired an 11-under par 61 and set a new Women’s Course Record at Stonebridge. Fennessy, playing for the Cochecho Country Club team, made 9 birdies, an eagle, no bogeys and only one 5 on the card, a par on the 10th. It was quite an encore after she made a hole in one at this same event last season. She would have won the team title by herself, but with help from her teammates Delaney Nadeau (74), Sydney Pergerson (76) and PGA Professional, Lucas Langelier (72) who tied for first in the Professional Division, the squad finished at a record 16-under par 56, 7 strokes clear of the field. Another impressive round of 70 was fired by Sophie Thai, who just finished up her senior year at Dartmouth as the women were the big story at Stonebridge this week.

Lucas Langelier and his Cochecho Team Were Unstoppable at Stonebridge
Sharing top Professional honors with Langelier were Cory Mansfield (Derryfield CC), Dan Wilkins (Laconia CC), Mitch Jefferson (Rochester CC) and Todd Rollins (Ready Golf). With his finish, Mansfield vaulted to the top of the Davis and Towle Insurance Player of the Year Points Race as he continues his solid play in 2026.

Cory Mansfield is Off to a Hot Start This Season
Brett Smestad’s Rochester team finished in second place in the Pro-Am Gross competition at 9 under par 63, followed by Trevor Moore and his Beaver Meadow group just one back.
