Portsmouth CC’s Joe Finemore and Billy Andrews both fired 3 under par rounds of 69 to tie atop the Professional Leaderboard at Keene Country Club on Monday. A total of six Professionals took advantage of the beautiful weather and conditions to break par on the day. Dan Wilkins, Laconia CC, and Jason Malcolm, Sky Meadow, were next at 2 under, 70 followed by Bailey Nangle, Owl’s Nest and Danny Kish, The Indoor Club, at 1 under, 71.

Nangle’s Owl’s Nest team combined for a 20 under par 124 in the Combined Gross and Net Pro-Am contest. His partners Sam Barnum. Sean Ryan and Mike Bownes helped the squad run away with a 4-shot victory. Finemore’s Portsmouth group finished 2nd at 128. He was joined by Mike Jonis, Tony Fournier and Art Bruinooge. Wilkins Laconia team tied Malcolm’s Sky Meadow entry for 3rd at 131.

After 5 events, Jason Malcolm has a slim lead in the Davis and Towle Insurance Player of the Year points race over Joe Finemore. Dan Wilkins is currently 3rd followed by Danny Kish and Billy Andrews.
