PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The New England PGA hosted the 2026 NEPGA Senior/Junior Championship on Tuesday, August 11th at Triggs Memorial Golf Course in Providence, R.I. New England PGA Golf Professionals came together for 18 holes of competition, with teams made up of one Professional under the age of 50 and one player over the age of 50.

Four teams shared the top spot on the leaderboard, with Eric Barlow, PGA (Winchester Country Club) and Frank Dully (Kernwood Country Club), Jack Green, PGA and Mark Gammons, PGA (Black Rock Country Club), Ed Kirby, PGA and Matthew Hillier, PGA (The Aquidneck Club), and Robert Tramonti, PGA (Triggs Memorial Golf Course) and Ben Egan (Bay Club at Mattapoisett) all finishing at 9-under-par 63.

Barlow and Dully put together a strong round, recording nine birdies to finish at 9-under and earn a share of the championship. Barlow contributed an impressive stretch of three consecutive birdies on holes 6, 7 and 8.

Green and Gammons also posted a 9-under 63. Gammons finished his individual round at 4-under-par 68, recording six birdies throughout the day. He caught fire on the back nine, going 4-under and making four consecutive birdies on holes 12 through 15.

Kirby and Hillier matched the winning score of 9-under, carding nine birdies as a team to earn a share of the title.

The host team of Tramonti and Egan also finished at 9-under, putting together a round highlighted by eight birdies and an eagle. Tramonti represented Triggs Memorial Golf Course, while Egan represented the Bay Club at Mattapoisett.
