Stowe, VT – The Vermont Chapter returned to Stowe Mountain Club at Spruce Peak on Sunday, September 8, for the Pro-Pro Championship. It was the second time this year the Chapter has visited the club, after Stowe played host to the Pro-Lady earlier this summer. A crisp, chilly morning gave way to a beautiful partly cloudy afternoon, a perfect setting as fall begins to settle into the Green Mountains. Twelve teams, twenty-four professionals in all competed in the event, vying for the top 4 paid spots.

At the top of the leaderboard, it was the duo of Curt Goldsberry and Dustin Ribolini from The Quechee Club who put together a stellar round of 65 to finish at 7-under par and capture the title. Just behind them, two teams shared second place honors at 4-under: Kevin Bennison from Burlington Country Club and Michael Zaranek from Brattleboro Country Club, alongside Brennan Earls from Vermont National and Kellen Peery of Golf Garage VT, each posting strong rounds of 68. In solo fourth place, Andy Treen and Josh Upson from the Country Club of Vermont finished at 2-under.

A sincere thank you goes to Stowe Mountain Club for once again welcoming the Vermont Chapter this season. It has been a wonderful host for two events this year and the chapter looks forward to going back in 2026! The staff at Spruce Peak, along with professionals Sean Toof, PGA and Dan Ruane, PGA, helped make the day run seamlessly and provided a wonderful experience for all competitors.

Next up, the Vermont Chapter heads to Ekwanok Country Club for the Match Play Championship, scheduled for September 24 and 25.
