Goldsberry started the round with three pars on the opening three par-4 holes at Concord CC. He bogeyed the par-3 5th hole, but kept a clean scorecard through the remaining five holes on the front-9, making the turn at 1-over. The opening nine holes feature seven par-4 holes and two par-3s. Goldsberry came back to even with a birdie on the par-4 14th hole and closed the round with back-to-back birdies on the par-5 17th and par-4 18th holes, claiming a share of the title.

Kirby posted an identical scorecard to Goldsberry, making par on the opening three holes and posting his first birdie of the round on the 14th hole, the 386-yard, par-4. He closed the round in the same fashion as his counterpart, posting birdies on 17 and 18 to tie Goldsberry at the top of the leaderboard at 2-under.

Bruso made the turn at even-par with two birdies on his scorecard. He birdied the par-4 3rd and 6th holes. He traded a birdie and a bogey on 12 and 13 but finished the day the same way Kirby and Goldsberry did, with birdies on 17 and 18, to clinch a spot at the top of the leaderboard.

Shawn Warren, PGA (Bates College) took home solo fourth place, shooting 1-under, 69 on the day. He opened the round with an early birdie on the par-4 1st hole. After trading a bogey on the 4th hole for another birdie on the par-4 7th hole, Warren made the turn at 1-under. A couple of early bogeys on the back nine put him back to 1-over, but two final birdies on the par-4 14th and a final one on 18 gave left him at 1-under overall and in third place.

The season-long Stroke Play Series comes to an end with the Stroke Play Series Finals on October, 1st at Winchester Country Club.
