South Burlington, VT – A cold, wet, rainy morning started the day at the Vermont Chapters Pro – 3 Am scratch tournament at Vermont National country club. 13 club professionals and their teams of three amateurs playing at scratch, played in a one best ball of four format. Ryan Kesten, and his team from Vermont National, and David Jankowski and his team from Golf Garage VT started out the first round 10-under par tied for the lead after the first 18 holes.

After lunch, the sun came out and the wind picked up for the second round of the day. The course was playing tough with wet conditions and mild winds. The other team from Vermont National led by Pete Scrimgeour made a good push in the second round shooting 18-under par for the 36-holes, Pete Weatherby and Manchester Country Club finished right behind him at 17-under par.

With those scores posted in the clubhouse it wasn’t enough to catch the hot teams of Golf Garage VT and Vermont National (Kesten) who both posted another 10-under round to post a 36 hole total of 20-under par 124. The co-champion teams consisted of Dave Jankoski and the Golf Garage team of Austin Giroux, Teddy Maynard, and Michael Walsh. Ryan, Kesten was joined on his  Vermont National Country Club team by Kris Cauchon, Nate Dyer, and Andrew Wester.
