FULL LEADERBOARD

MARSHFIELD , Mass. – JJ. Harris, PGA (Falmouth CC – ME) took home the 2022 NEPGA Hudson Cup Title today at Marshfield Country Club. The Hudson Cup is the first Major of the Season for NEPGA Assistant Professionals. The event is named after the former NEPGA Executive Director, Susan Hudson, who worked many years to help NEPGA Assistants. Harris, Rob Neaton, PGA (North Andover CC ), and Greg Kelly, PGA (Myopia Hunt) finished 18 holes of the 2022 NEPGA Hudson Cup shooting +1 (71) to force a three-way playoff for the title. Harris won the second playoff hole with a birdie to take home the cup!

Harris birdied three holes on the day and shot par on a total of 14 holes. He finished  the front nine shooting a 36 and shot a 35 on the back nine to join Neaton and Kelly in the playoff.

Neaton finished the day with two birdies and shot par on 15 holes. He went -1 through the opening nine holes of the day and +2 on the back nine. He shared the second-place spot with Kelly who also birdied two, made par of 15, and finished the front -1 and the back +2.

Two players finished with two-over 72’s to share fourth place: Aaron Walker, PGA (Worcester CC) and John Paesani, PGA (The Bay Club at Mattapoisett).

The round started with fog and mist out in Marshfield, Mass. before the sun broke through to provide a beautiful day for golf.
