Quechee, VT – The New England PGA Pro-Am Championship returned to The Quechee Club on June 1-2, bringing together PGA Professionals and amateur partners from across New England for 36 holes of competition on the club’s Lakeland and Highland courses.

Leading the way for the Vermont Chapter was the Golf Garage team of David Jankowski, PGA, and Austin Giroux, who posted rounds of 65-68 to finish fifth overall at 11-under-par 133.

The championship was ultimately won by Rich Berberian and Derek Wayman of Vesper Country Club. After opening with a 65 on the Lakeland Course, the defending champions closed with a tournament-best 64 on Tuesday to finish at 15-under-par and successfully defend their title.

 

Several Vermont teams recorded strong finishes throughout the week. Dustin Ribolini, PGA, and Jay Zanleoni finished tied for ninth at 7-under-par 137, while Ryan Howard, PGA, and Jason Morrissey tied for 13th at 1-under-par 143.

  • 24th – Brennan Earls, PGA & Travis Connolly (+19, 163)

The Vermont Chapter now turns its attention to the Burlington CC Pro Am at June 8.
