Rutland, VTThe Vermont Chapter rolled into Rutland Country Club yesterday for its third Pro-Am of the 2025 season. Under cool, early-summer skies, 22 teams from across Vermont and New Hampshire teed it up on one of the best courses in the state. The course provided a stern test with challenging greens and a touch of wind.

The team from Southern New Hampshire University surged to the top of the leaderboard, carding a superb twelve under par, 128, to win the day. Derryfield Country Club and Ryderbrook Country Club finished just behind at eleven under par, 129, while Golf Garage VT (Jankowski) placed solo fourth at 133. A two-way tie for fifth at 132 included Montcalm Golf Club and Links at Lang Farm.

Roger King, and his team from Sugarbush.

It was David Jankowski who took home top professional honors with a one under par 69. His stellar back nine earned him a narrow victory over Corey Mansfield, who shot even par. Kellen Peery, Matt Avranitis, and Erik Lindahl all turned in solid rounds of 71 and 72 to share third and fourth place, respectively.

It was another great day for the Vermont Chapter, a rare sunny one in what has been an otherwise wet spring. The Rutland staff and grounds crew had the course in peak shape and provided a warm welcome to players and professionals alike.

Special thanks to Head Golf Professional Jeff Flis and Superintendent Max Major for their work preparing the course, and to the Rutland membership for hosting the event. Vermont was doused with rain the days leading up to the tournament, and the course remained in fantastic shape. A testament to their hard work.

Lastly, a big thank you to Comparion Insurance for sponsoring yesterday’s event!
