QUINCY, Mass. – The picturesque Boston skyline provided a great background for the 2024 Granite Links Pro-Am on Monday, April 29th in Quincy, Mass. 30 teams traveled to compete in the second Section Pro-Am of the season on a day where the sun started out strong then finally appeared again at the end of the day.

Jeff Martin, PGA of Wollaston Golf Club took home first place in the Professional Division, shooting 66 (-5) on the day. Frank Dully, PGA of Kernwood Country Club claimed second place overall, shooting 67 (-4). Liam Friedman, PGA (Wollaston GC) and Nate Myers, PGA (Ipswich CC) shared third place overall, shooting 69s (-2) over the 18 holes.

Martin carded four birdies and one eagle on the back nine. On the par-5 13th hole, Martin made his eagle. His first birdie of the day came on the par-4 twelfth hole of the day. He went on to card three more birdies on holes 15, 16, and 18 to finish five-under par to claim the Professional Division title.

In team play, Liam Friedman, PGA of Wollaston Golf Club led his team to a first-place finish in the 2 best ball of 4, 1 Gross + 1 Net score, with a total score of 125 (-17). Friedman’s team consisted of Donald Ward, Lindo Santos, and Miguel Jimenez. Finishing behind them, in solo second play and shooting 16-under (126) was Martin’s team also from Wollaston, which consisted of Tim Vanech, David Patterson, and Thomas Gebhard.
